Trump Whale Makes $85 Million

A trader known as the “Trump whale” accurately predicted that Donald Trump would win the presidency.  In other words, he did better than the polls but some would say this was like taking candy from a baby if one were to believe the betting markets.  They all had Trump winning the last few weeks leading up to the election.

He'll end up making a cool $85 million.

Not only did he predict that Donald Trump would win the presidency, but he also bet big that Trump would win the popular vote and triumph in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.  Most of his wagers - $30 million at least - were placed on the Polymarket website.

Théo reportedly utilized 11 anonymous accounts on the site to make his bets.

According to Business Insider, usernames included Fredi9999, Theo4, PrincessCaro, and Michie. On Thursday, Theo4 and Fredi9999 ranked as the first and second most profitable accounts of all time on Polymarket; PrincessCaro and Michie are in eighth and fourteenth place, respectively.

Interestingly enough, the "Trump Whale" is not based out of the US but in France.

Australian Casino Giants Spent $240K on Ads Leading Up to US Elections?

It seems the Aussies were all-in on who would be the next US President.

Some $240,000 was spent by Australian online casino firms on gambling ads specific to election betting.

Guessing the colour of Trump’s tie were among bets promoted by TAB, Ladbrokes, Sportsbet and Neds in the week leading up to the election.

According to The Guardian, Ladbrokes promoted “novelty market” bets available on its app, including “will the losing candidate of the US Election concede on election night?”, and “Will Donald Trump’s speech mention fraud or legal challenges?”. Those ads were also targeted toward men at a far higher rate than women.

Neds also promoted “novelty market” bets including up to $18,000 boosting “Will Travis Kelce endorse Kamala Harris before the US election?” and between $22,000-$28,000 on “What colour tie will Donald Trump wear during his election night speech?”

Prosecutor Declines to Charge Singer Nelly Following Arrest at Casino in August

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Rapper Nelly won’t face drug charges following his arrest this summer at a St. Louis-area casino, a prosecutor said.

“We don’t believe the facts in this case warrant the issuing of charges,” St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell said in a statement Tuesday.

Nelly, 49, whose birth name is Cornell Haynes II, grew up in the area. His lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, has said the search that led to Nelly’s August arrest was unwarranted.

Bell’s office didn’t elaborate on why the decision was made to not file charges. Rosenblum said in an email Wednesday that Bell’s decision followed “a fair and impartial review of the evidence.”

Nelly was arrested at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 7 as he sought to collect several jackpots he won at Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Maryland Heights, Missouri. A trooper assigned to the casino told Nelly that a warrant search is required when a gambler wins more than a certain amount of money. Rosenblum said no such warrant check is required.

The background check showed that a judge issued a warrant in December over a 2018 citation for operating a vehicle without proof of insurance. Because of the outstanding warrant, Nelly was arrested and searched. That’s when the officer allegedly found four ecstasy pills. Police had sought a charge of felony possession of a controlled substance.

Meanwhile, the insurance charge has been resolved. Rosenblum said it was dismissed after Nelly provided proof that he has car insurance.

Nelly, a three-time Grammy Award winner, is known for hits like “Hot in Herre” and “Just A Dream.” He’s had four No. 1 hits and received nine Billboard Music Awards. He also has appeared in several films and TV series.

Nelly won Grammy Awards in 2002 for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Male Solo Rap Performance, and his “Nellyville” was nominated that year for both Best Rap Album and Album of the Year. He also won a Grammy the following year for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group the following year for “Shake Ya Tailfeather.”

Rampage Allegedly Gets Scammed Again for Thousands: "One Day I'll Learn"

Ethan "Rampage" Yau will "one day" learn who is trustworthy.....maybe.

The popular poker vlogger tweeted out his "Scammer of 2024" award recipient, and the winner is a bookie who allegedly owes him thousands of dollars.

Neema Khazaie, an agent for Diamond Sportsbook, is supposedly refusing to pay out his winnings after willfully accepting deposits during a lengthy downswing.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner claims he attempted to make a withdrawal from his sports betting account on Oct. 7. But he was "met with some excuses."

Previous to the alleged stall tactics, "Rampage" claimed the book had limited him and accused the poker player of being a "sharp".

"Rampage", however, claims to be down $60,000.

Hardly a "sharp" if this is true.
