UB.com: We Want You After All US Players, But Is It Russian Roulette?

Following the crackdown on UB.com and two other online poker enterprises last week, all three companies abandoned the US market…..or sort of.

UB.com continues to waver a bit though this weekend, their stance appeared abundantly clear….at least for now.

UB.com reps began telling US-based customers they were more than welcome to play in cash rooms.

Truth be told, neither the players or UB.com executives really know what is going to happen moving forward.  UB.com hasn’t made a decision whether they will continue catering to the lucrative US market while more and more players feel it is worth the risk playing there.  They love the software and there are few people who say otherwise.

Ultimately it appears more likely UB.com will either negotiate a deal through their high power attorneys with the US Government to begin facilitating payouts or they will try desperately to locate new processors.  The later means “Business as Usual” or “Business as Unusual” should the US Attorney’s Office out of the Southern District of New York want the defendants bad enough.

Our sources tell us the Assistant United States Attorney overseeing the investigation, Arlo Devlin-Brown, wants all of these defendants behind bars.  He’s not interested in just collecting those multi-million dollar fines.  Others in the Justice Department might have a different mindset we are told.

We will all have to wait and see how this plays out.

Here is that chat log we told you about:

If the charges prove true, defendants in online poker crackdown are almost inevitably
going to serve some time behind bars
