High Volume Sunday Nights:

It is no secret that Sunday Night tends to be the most bet football game of the entire week. Gamblers are playing with house money and want to win more, or they are trying to dig themselves out of a hole with one final big bet. Sunday Night’s game between the Chiefs and Falcons was no different. The Chiefs were the hot pick as bettors continue to back Mahomes. We had a liability to the Chiefs and lost as the Falcons failed to score twice from inside the 20 late in the game. Not a fun Sunday night for the house!

Big Bettor vs Small Bettors:

We saw this a lot this weekend in College Football, and the same can be applied for the NFL. The most prominent “Public” vs “Big Bettor” game was the Panthers Vs the Raiders. The Big Bettors backed Andy Dalton and the Panthers and the Small Bettors loaded up on the Raiders as they have seen the Panthers struggle and the Raiders get a huge win last week over the Ravens. The Red Rifle Andy Dalton showed up and played a great game, and the Big Bettors got the cash.

One Way Games:

The Biggest one way game of the weekend in both college football and NFL was the Baltimore Ravens. We kept taking Ravens bets as the line continued to move and could not get much action on the side. This usually happens when the bettor’s feels a team “Needs” to win a game, such as the Ravens yesterday after starting the season 0-2. The Cowboys made a great effort at a comeback, but in the end the bettors got the cash and the Sportsbook got hit hard on that game. Just another Sunday!

Nuggets and Injury Corner:

-Key Injuries: Injuries are a key in what shapes an NFL line to be what it is on Sunday afternoon. So going forward, we want to point out some key injuries that happened yesterday so that you can use this info.

-Chargers star Joey Bosa (Hip) was ruled out against the Steelers. Justin Herbert and Rashawn Slater exited early and did not return. Herbert was seen in a walking boot and said his ankle was a little sore after the game. Obviously these are key players for The Chargers and should be monitored closely.

-Another team with major injuries on Sunday was the Detroit Lions. TE Sam LaPorta and defensive back Brian Branch did not return against the Cardinals. DL Alim McNeil and LB Derrick Barnes were also ruled out. LaPorta and Branch are VERY key players for the Lions so their status should be monitored throughout the week.

-For anyone who watched the SNF game, you saw that The Falcons had two key OL leave the game. Drew Dalman (Ankle) and Kaleb McGary (Knee) were both ruled out in the 2nd quarter. The Falcons offense really struggled with them out of the game and we will need to look for updates throughout the week. Cousins is not mobile enough to deal with a collapsing pocket play after play.
