Player hit $116,665 progressive jackpot betting $12.50 on a 5-cent machine
Seminole affiliated casinos have been paying out plenty of jackpots in recent weeks
A Yuba, California Gambler hit a $116,665 progressive jackpot on a “Dragon Link Happy & Prosperous” split machine at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Fire Mountain in Wheatland, California, 35 miles outside of Sacramento.
The gambler bet $12.50 on the 5-cent machine, set for 50-cent denomination bets.
“We are thrilled to congratulate a local winner on their exciting jackpot,” said Mark Birtha, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. “An exciting way for them to start the week!”
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is operated under the Hard Rock brand through a partnership involving the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the Enterprise Rancheria.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida owns the Hard Rock International brand and provides management and operational expertise while the Enterprise Rancheria owns the casino.
Luck of the Seminoles
Seminole run casinos in Florida have been paying out multiple jackpots since the end of May.
From May 29 to June 14, six lucky players at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee won $1,065,636.16 in total jackpots, with five taking home more than $100,000 each and one scoring $420,211.
The jackpots include:
- On May 29, a player won $107,338.65 on an Aristocrat Gaming Buffalo Link slot machine with a $100 bet.
- On May 31, a player scored $126,593.80 on a Scientific Games Ultimate Fire Link slot machine with a $50 bet.
- On June 8, a player took home $138,400.50 on a Scientific Games Ultimate Fire Link slot machine with a $200 bet.
- On June 11, a player won $167,222.41 on an Aristocrat Gaming Dragon Link slot machine with a $15 bet.
- On June 12, a player won a $420,211 Three Seven of Diamonds Mega Jackpot playing table game Blackjack.
- June 14, a player collected $105,870.80 on an Aristocrat Gaming Dragon Link slot machine with a $25 bet.
Three more players hit jackpots totaling $218,000 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida just this past weekend.
