70.2% of the betting action on the total for Game 1 of the 2022 Stanley Cup was on the OVER 6 goals to be scored.

64.8% was coming in on the Avalanche to win Game 1 (-148 odds).

The Lightning are aiming to become only the fourth team in NHL history to pull off the three-peat.  There aren't a whole lot of bettors banking on them to do so, according to BetOnline.

61.7% of the action was on the Avalanche to win championship (-165 odds).

The Avalanche have gone 12-2 in the playoffs, which is the second-best winning percentage entering the Cup Finals since the merger ('83 Oilers went 11-1). They have averaged just over 4.5 goals per game, which is the highest total in 35 years.

"Tampa Bay is the back-to-back defending champion, and there is certainly some support there, but the majority of our customers, particularly the sharp ones, are betting on the Avs," Adam Burns, sportsbook manager at BetOnline.ag, said.
