One lucky Las Vegas Bellagio guest spent $5 on a slot and walked away a millionaire.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, used that $5 spin on a Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Deluxe Triple Stars machine Monday night, according to a spokesperson from IGT, the maker of the Wheel of Fortune machines.

This five-payline game has 92.09% RTP and a traditional slot machine design. Spin the Wheel of Fortune for a cash prize and trigger the Gold Spin bonus for a chance to hit the jackpot.  The game is featured both in land-based casinos like the Bellagio and at your favorite online casino.

Often imitated, never equaled, Wheel of Fortune continues to be the most popular casino slots game in America by minting more millionaires than any other brand.

The Bellagio guest wasn't the only gambler to win big playing the Wheel of Fortune slots in recent weeks.

On January 9, a player at Encore Las Vegas won $1,183,314 playing Wheel of Fortune Diamond Spins 2X Wilds after placing just a $9 bet.

On January 11, a Powerbucks player in British Columbia hit the jackpot while playing Wheel of Fortune Elegant Emeralds online and won $792,480.
