The 76ers Are 3.5 Point Home Favorite vs. Knicks Thursday Night Following 'Insane' Ending
The 76ers-Knicks line has been on the money the first two games of their playoff series. That trend won't continue Thursday as we have the game at Philadelphia as a pick'em. The books opened with the 76ers as a -3.5 home favorite.
New York failed to cover the -4 to -4.5 spread Monday night following a wild finish that concluded with a 104-101 Knicks victory.
If you had the Knicks on the moneyline going into the final 30 seconds, it seemed your bet would lose.
Those who had the 76ers on the moneyline, your NBA bet was a winner, right?
WRONG!!!!
Nobody on the 76ers tried to call a timeout until after the ball was loose… Cope pic.twitter.com/744gbGat45

The Knicks trailed by five points within that final 30 seconds, on the verge of losing home-court advantage before a stunning rally that witnessed Donte DiVincenzo make a go-ahead 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining.
Jalen Brunson's 3-pointer from the corner bounced on the rim and fell in, cutting it to 101-99 with 27 seconds remaining.
Josh Hart stole the ball from Tyrese Maxey to get the ball back for the Knicks, but DiVincenzo missed a 3-pointer. Isaiah Hartenstein grabbed the rebound and passed it to OG Anunoby, who got it back to DiVincenzo, who hit that one to make it 102-101.
Hartenstein then blocked Maxey's drive, Anunoby made two free throws, and the Knicks held on when Joel Embiid missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Those who had the Sixers on the moneyline likely had a tough time stomaching that loss.
"I still can’t believe 76ers game. Moneyline bettors are sick...," one person tweeted.
"The refs obviously had 76ers Moneyline tonight," another joked.
