Since there is no re-seeding of the College Football Playoff bracket, we know the two potential opponents for the teams that earned a first-round bye.

Boise State will play either Penn State or SMU in the Fiesta Bowl, Arizona State will play either Texas or Clemson in the Peach Bowl, Oregon will play either Ohio State or Tennessee in the Rose Bowl and Georgia will play either Notre Dame or Indiana in the Sugar Bowl.
