James McLoughlin, the App Marketing Assassin, reports via his LinkedIn Page that Bet365 now dominates all other sports betting apps in Canada.  Plus he has a few other surprises.

"Canada’s sports betting market is cookin'; here's the Top 13 betting apps over the last 90 days," he writes.

The Top 3, McLoughlin reports:
bet365 – "Still the market leader, but they’ve lost ground."
FanDuel – "Right behind and closing fast."
DraftKings – "Lost touch with FD & drifting."

The biggest riser?
"BET99, our client (!), grew an incredible 48% over this period!  Goaaaaaal."

In regard to Bet99, McLoughlin writes:

"They’re making serious moves in the market, capitalizing on key moments, and proving that Canadian bettors are happy to buy local.

"Let's see what happens in the coming months with the Madness of March, Masters golf and the NHL/NBA Playoffs."

iGaming Advisor Benjie Cherniak writes in response: "Bet99 wisely doubled down on the 4 Nations Cup last month, which turned into a ratings bonanza. I’m guessing that branding exercise couldn’t have hurt either."

The next most downloaded apps were BetVictor, which does not yet have a foothold in the US market, and TheScore, which previously failed to gain any ground in the US market.
