The Breeders’ Cup Classic futures market got its first real major shakeup over the weekend with favorite Knicks Go becoming an even firmer favorite without leaving his barn!

With Mystic Guide and Madaloun on the injured list, and heavy defeats for Royal Ship and Express Train in the Pacific Classic, we now have Knicks Go as the +500 market leader.

The added intrigue is provided by the fact that Brad Cox now trains the favorite and the second-favorite with Essential Quality at +550. There has been no news as to whether the stablemates could line up against each other, although with them being in different ownership that of course is a huge possibility!

Pacific Classic 1-2, Tripoli and Tizamagican, enter the market at +2800 and +3300.

UK challenger Mishriff is firm at +1000 after his emphatic win at the Juddmonte International, but doubts remain as to whether a trip to Del Mar is on his radar.
