Rockies Brenton Doyle Injures Index Finger in 'Freak Accident': Gamblers Demand Bets Be Voided

The Rockies’ Gold Glove center fielder, Brenton Doyle, injured his index finger on his right (throwing hand) early in Colorado’s 5-4 loss to the Giants at Oracle Park and had to leave the game Sunday and now gamblers are demanding the Doyle bets be voided.

FanDuel hasn't done it.

Lou Will blasted the company via his Twitter feed.

"Biggest cheaters in the world I’m done with FanDuel I’ll go to other apps cause why tf did they remove his props after they announced he was out today but not void it for anyone who already took."

Gave explained: "bro support chat told me if he makes a plate appearance it wont void."

When Doyle struck out against Erik Miller to end the first inning in Sunday’s loss to the Giants, Doyle angrily threw a towel against the training kit in the dugout, according to MLB.com. But Doyle hit his finger against the kit, causing a contusion.

Pyscho Jenny wrote: "hell nah void Brenton Doyle he literally randomly got pulled that’s not our problem and impossible to predict."

He was removed in the third inning.

For the average observer, the move prompted bizarre speculation online that he might be part of a deal ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline. An X-ray showed no major damage.

“It was a tough one, sort of a freak accident,” Black told reporters in San Francisco. “It’s a contusion to the tip of his finger. … He inadvertently hurt his finger.”

Not gonna happen Folks, in terms of the voided bets.  Don't shoot the messenger.  We get the pain you must be feeling though but we're sure it's stipulated in their MLB rules.

Now had he hit a homer, we don't doubt a book or two would be voiding his bets.

Braves @ Brewers

So far we are liking the Royals to hand the White Sox their 15th straight loss.  There is no consensus on this one over at the G911 Sports Hub.

The Bookie is on the Royals too but he's not his usual solid winning self.

"With over 20 years of bookmaking experience, The Bookie has a unique relationship with many offshore sportsbooks, and access to information to provide sports bettors around the world, with a consistent winning week in and week out."

As for the Braves-Brewers series, Atlanta is 5-1 over the last six games versus Milwaukee.

Atlanta Braves career statistics vs. Colin Rea have just 3 hits in 18 appearances.  It's a small sampling but Marcell Ozuna is 0-for-3, so that has to count for something.  Rea has won his last two starts.  Backing the Braves might not be your best bet here.

Atlanta comes in at -102, Milwaukee +116.

Grant Holmes is scheduled to start for the Braves on Monday against the Brewers in Milwaukee.  He has thus far compiled a 2.70 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and a 21/5 K/BB ratio over 23 1/3 innings of work in the bullpen.
