Bryce Young suffered an AC shoulder joint sprain in Saturday's game against Arkansas.  Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban has reassured everyone that his injury is not serious.

Young will be listed as day-to-day. And the oddsmakers aren't taking any chances. It became immediately apparent the injury would have an impact on the CFP and Heisman odds by Sunday morning.

”Bryce has a little AC sprain in his shoulder. We’ll have to take it day-to-day. I think he’s OK. He doesn’t have a serious injury. We didn’t think he could go back in the game because I don’t think he had much steam on throwing the ball. He’s had these before and in a few days, he starts to respond pretty well. We’ll have to see how it goes.”

Young remained with the third-lowest odds on the Heisman board, but his chances have doubled after being 5-1 last week and 10-1 currently.

CJ Stroud benefited, going from 2-1 last week to the prohibitive even-money favorite. Caleb Williams dropped from 4-1 last week to 5-1 now.

In the CFP Championship odds, Alabama moves out of the second position and is now third behind Ohio State. Last week, the Tide had 2-1 odds (nearly tied with Georgia), but are currently 3-1.

The Buckeyes moved up from 3-1 odds last week to 2-1, so the two powerhouses basically switched spots on the CFP odds list.
