Circa Survivor Down to Exactly 1000 Entries

Meanwhile, a more conventional favorite, Buffalo, had been picked by 261 entries to beat Miami. Despite a seemingly lopsided game, Buffalo’s offense could not get going. Miami led 16-0 at halftime, going on to win 30-13 therefore eliminating 14.8% of the remaining field.
In addition to the two teams that lost, Chicago gave 168 entries a scare against New York. New York held the lead for most of the game, with the score at 10-7 into halftime and 17-10 into the fourth quarter. However, Caleb Williams would scramble for a touchdown with under two minutes left to give Chicago a 24-20 lead. Chicago’s defense was able to hold on for the win. When the dust cleared, 769 entries had been eliminated. In addition to those who picked Carolina and Buffalo, nine selected Cleveland, eight picked Tampa Bay and one was relying on Jacksonville.
