Crypto Queen Ruja Ignatova Most Wanted Captured First Odds

Ruja Ignatova, the self-touted "Cryptoqueen" who scammed investors out of $4 billion in 2016, is now one of the FBI's 10 most-wanted fugitives, CNN reported Sunday.  And guess what?  Our friends at BetOnline are now offering odds on when she and other Most Wanteds will be captured.

Sadly, the odds favor Ignatova as she is a -3000 favorite not to be captured.

Ignatova is the only woman currently on that list, and she's only one of 11 women to ever appear in the "FBI's Most Wanted Fugitives" directory, which was launched in 1950.

Ignatova isn't a gang leader or murderer like the other fugitives in the Top 10, but a Ponzi schemer who created a worthless, blockchain currency called OneCoin.

Sound familiar? Well, at this time, Sam Bankman-Fried is in federal custody (albeit at his parents' house), so the FTX defrauder likely won't be showing up on the FBI's list any time soon.

Ignatova and her partners “conned unsuspecting victims out of the billions of dollars, claiming that OneCoin would be the ‘Bitcoin killer,’” US Attorney Damian Williams, New York’s top prosecutor, said in a statement last month.

“In fact, OneCoins were entirely worthless … (Their) lies were designed with one goal, to get everyday people all over the world to part with their hard-earned money.”

Will Ruya Ignatova be captured in 2023?

No        -3000

Yes       +800

(Note: The odds imply a 96.8% probability that Ignatova will NOT be caught)

The FBI has already captured one fugitive in 2023, and our number crunchers believe one or two more will be apprehended by the end of the year.

How many "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" will be captured in 2023? (Includes 1 person already captured this year)

Under 2.5

Over 2.5

Who will be first? Well, the favorite is Yulan Adonay Archaga Carias, who is the alleged leader of MS-13 for all of Honduras. He was added to the FBI's list in 2021.
