FanDuel has announced the appointment of Ari Avishay as Marketing Senior Vice President. In this role, Avishay will report to FanDuel’s President of Sports Mike Raffensperger and lead the company’s brand, creative, and consumer insights strategy across the FanDuel portfolio. In addition, he will own the creative vision of the brand while evolving how FanDuel brings products, features, and moments to market through integrated campaigns and data-informed storytelling, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
“Ari brings a proven track record of driving brand awareness, cultural relevance, and meaningful growth for iconic brands at the intersection of content, media, sports, and entertainment,” Raffensperger said. “As FanDuel continues to define the future of sports entertainment, Ari’s experience and perspective will help take our brand to the next level.”
Avishay joins FanDuel at a time of continued growth and momentum for the brand. FanDuel recently wrapped its Last Call for Football Super Bowl campaign, part of the company’s Play Your Game brand platform, which launched at the start of the NFL season and was built around a fan-first approach to both marketing and product design. FanDuel finished the season maintaining its position as the nation’s #1 sportsbook, capturing the largest market share in the country.
Most recently, Avishay served as Senior Vice President of Content Marketing for Paramount+, where he led brand, content, social, and partner marketing across more than 45 markets worldwide, overseeing large-scale initiatives that fueled subscriber growth and global brand equity.
Prior to Paramount+, Avishay was Vice President of Content Marketing at Hulu, where he oversaw marketing and social strategy for Hulu Originals series and films, including The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building, Palm Springs, and Dopesick.
Earlier in his career, Avishay served as Director of Brand Marketing and Head of Lyft Entertainment, where he led the development of award-winning campaigns and original series such as Undercover Lyft, Kevin Hart: Lyft Legend, and Billy on the Street. His work played a key role in driving brand growth and cultural relevance ahead of Lyft’s IPO in 2019. Before Lyft, Avishay was an executive at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), leading relationships with major global brands including General Motors, Chipotle, Diageo, and Mattel.
Avishay’s work has been recognized by the Cannes Lions, Clios, Webbys, Streamys, PROMAX, PGA Awards, and Emmys. He is a member of CAA’s Global Fellowship and has been named to Billboard’s Top Branding Power Players and CSQ’s NextGen10 in Sports, Media, and Entertainment.
