The problems reportedly started some time after 4:30 pm ET.

FanDuel's support team has been addressing individual user complaints by suggesting direct messages for assistance.

"We’re aware users are unable to access their accounts/make a deposit at this time. Our teams are actively working to resolve the issue ASAP. Further updates will be threaded here."

The outage occurred as a number of MLB games and two in-play NBA tournaments were set to get underway.

The issue seemed to have been resolved just prior to 6:30 pm ET.

It was not immediately clear what caused the snafu.
