Industry analyst HonorTheCall, with nearly 20 million Twitter followers, has been at the forefront of exposing the conflicts of interests that appear to have been permeating throughout the industry (his video appears below), the most notable being YouTube stars Trevor "TmarTn" Martin and Tom "Syndicate" Cassell failure to disclose their ownership interest in CS:GO Lotto while promoting the site.

From GameZone.com:

YouTuber HonorTheCall, who was instrumental in exposing YouTubers Trevor 'TmarTn' Martin and Tom ‘ProSydicate ’ as part-owners of a gambling website, alleges that several Faze Clan members failed to disclose their involvement with popular cosmetic item betting website CSGO Wild.

The Faze Clan are accused of failing to disclose their ownership interest in CS:GO Wild.

CSGO Wild said of the relationship with FaZe Clan on its website:

“After some back-and-forth, we worked out a SPONSORSHIP deal. Banks, Rain and a few other team members got paid in return for promotion. They were paid in cash, skins, and emeralds to be used to bet with on our website. After we chose to cease serving US users we began to cut ties with most of our US based influencers.

“Not only did we stop working with the guys from FaZe over a month ago, but we also stopped working with a number of youtubers, streamers, and professional players at that time.”

CS:GO Wild has denied the allegations set forth by HonorTheCall.

According to CSGO Wild, the deal with FaZe clan ended when they decided to block US players from participating in coin flips and roulettes, which occurred at the end of June. CSGO Wild reportedly started blocking players shortly after a CS: GO player filed a lawsuit against Valve relating to “illegal online gambling”.

HonorTheCall, however, appears to be in possession of recently hacked Skype chat logs that indicate otherwise.

CSGO Wild is one of the 23 websites sent cease and desist orders this week claiming they are in violation of the video developer Valve’s terms and conditions

“immediately cease and desist further use of your Steam accounts for any commercial purpose." There is also a strict deadline imposed. "If you fail to do this within ten (10) days Valve will pursue all available remedies including without limitation terminating your accounts."
