It was reported this week that US federal authorities shut down the popular Ron & Mike Football Pool.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell first reported the news, noting that the pools had at least $2.5 million at stake for the winners.

Federal agents reportedly seized all funds tied to the pool.

The pools were run by Ron Kronengold and Mike Bernstein.
