At Flutter, we’re changing the game for good, by working hard to drive positive change, delivering long-term growth and a sustainable future. We do this through the global competitive advantages of the Flutter Edge, which provides our brands with access to Group-wide benefits and helps us deliver on our sustainability strategy: our Positive Impact Plan.

Established in 2022, our Positive Impact Plan sets a clear sustainability strategy addressing the issues and opportunities that matter most to our business and sector. Yesterday we published our 2024 Sustainability Report which demonstrates our progress against our goals, while showcasing some of our key achievements and programs along the way.

Our Play Well strategy is the foundation of our Positive Impact Plan. It guides our approach to Responsible Gaming and embeds this commitment throughout our business. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Getting it right for them, and enabling our entire customer base to Play Well, is key to our sustainable growth, and we've made great progress again this year:

- 5% of our customers are using Play Well tools globally, and we’re on track to meet our interim target of 50% of customers using them by 2026.
- We increased our investment to support and promote safe play across global operations by 8% to $139 million.

Across our other pillars, we’ve also continued our positive momentum.

Do More for communities
- In 2024 we donated $16.4m to the communities where we live, work and play and our work helped improve over 1 million lives.

Work Better for colleagues
- In 2024, we deepened our commitment to creating a culture where Every Voice Matters by expanding our spaces for connection and investing in initiatives within our local markets, supporting colleagues to develop and grow at every level.

Go Zero for the environment
- We saw a reduction of 5% in our greenhouse gas emissions last year, an important step toward our net zero commitment.

Peter Jackon, Chief Executive Officer, Flutter, said: “Flutter is committed to sustainable growth and setting the agenda for positive change. I am delighted to share the progress we’ve made on our Positive Impact Plan in 2024 – all made possible through the passion and commitment of our colleagues - through the publication of our second Sustainability Report.

We made important progress in many ways during the year, but something I am particularly proud of is how we are continuing to help our customers to Play Well. We invested $139 million to support and promote safe play across our global operations and saw 44.5% of our active online customers use one or more Play Well tools.

Through the Flutter Edge, we’re sharing insights across the Group, helping our brands to grow responsibly and lead positive change in our industry.”

Sue Albion, Group Director of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs, commented:
“Our Positive Impact Plan is at the heart of our business and I’m extremely proud of the progress we achieved in 2024, which wouldn’t have been possible without the shared commitment and passion from our colleagues across the globe.

Through a unified strategy brought to life through local expertise and execution - we have been able to share learnings and drive continuous improvement across our global operations and help define standards for sustainability within our industry, all powered through the Flutter Edge.”
