Trying to keep up with the explosive prediction market sector is becoming quite the task.  There are a few new entrants each month, including established sites sticking a toe in the space.

The latest is a platform called ForecastX.

While ForecastEx began operations on August 1, 2024 as a regulated U.S. prediction-market-style exchange, it only started offering sports contracts at the end of 2025.   These are Yes and No specific.  No spread is offered as is the case with a standard bookmaker.

ForecastEx takes a very different approach to prediction markets. Instead of feeling like a standalone app, it operates inside the world of traditional finance through Interactive Brokers. ForecastEx focuses on macroeconomic and policy-driven event contracts, attracting a more analytical audience. It only started offering sports contracts at the end of 2025.

In 2026, ForecastEx has firmly positioned itself as the “serious trader’s” prediction market. It benefits from Interactive Brokers’ deep liquidity and professional-grade infrastructure, which adds a layer of trust that newer platforms often lack.

Since it’s part of IBKR, it does not have a separate valuation, and its financial results are consolidated within its parent company’s reports. IBKR reported net revenues of over $6 billion for 2025.

ForecastEx LLC is registered as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) — effectively a regulated derivatives exchange — with the CFTC with the license granted in June of 2024.

To sign up to trade ForecastEx contracts, you do so via a  qualified broker (Futures Commission Merchants, or FCMs) that provides access to ForecastEx markets.

Go to fforecastex.com and look for links like “Find a Broker,” “Open Account,” or “Start Trading.”

ForecastEx itself doesn’t host retail accounts.

ForecastEx passes the interest it earns to its Members through an Incentive Coupon. Members can share this Coupon with their clients, making trading on ForecastEx an appealing option for investors.
