PricePerPlayer.com, which provides sportsbook software to bookmakers and agents, reported Monday on the growing gambling market in France.

According to the data, the handle on the country’s licensed online gambling operators was worth €847million for the first quarter.  Furthermore, Online Gambling Market in France grew across all vertical gambling type and platforms.

In addition, the online sports betting market showed a 34% rise over the same period last year. The first quarter of 2018 also showed a 55% rise to €147m for its online betting revenue.

Online Player retention rose 36% to 462,500 because of the bonuses offered by gambling operators.

Wagers on football rose 34% to €147 million which once again, another quarterly record for France.  Many believe the strong soccer numbers are a result of this being a World Cup year.  Pay Per Head vehicles like PricePerPlayer.com will be offering LIVE IN-PLAY WAGERING for all FIFA World Cup matches.
