Florida State Takes on Georgia Tech in Ireland to Kick Off Season

The 2024 college football kicks off August 24 as the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are set to play in Dublin, Ireland. The Seminoles are coming off a 13-1 season but were deprived of a playoff spot. Georgia Tech went 7-6 in 2023.

Florida State comes into this game as a -11 favorite without any type of home field advantage. This line has since moved to -11.5.

“I am really proud of our guys for all the work they put into our off-season program...We have a lot of guys that we’ve seen tremendous steps," Florida State head coach Mike Norvell said this past week.

“Now it’s time to go kick it off. To be able to do so in the first game this season is definitely a tremendous honor.”

Odds on Dricus Du Plessis vs. Sean Strickland

South African Dricus du Plessis took a flurry of body hits across four rounds before defeating Israel Adesanya by submission to retain his middleweight championship at UFC 305 on Sunday.
