Giants vs Seahawks NFL Week 8 Expert Predictions, Prop Bets

The Seattle Seahawks get no love from the Sagarin ratings.  They remain at No. 27 despite their 4-3 record Straight Up and Against The Spread.  The oddsmakers are showing them some respect as Seattle comes in as the -2.5 to -3 point favorite against the New York Giants.

The Giants @ Seahawks game we get a number of 1.5 that favors New York.  Therefore the wrong team is favored and there is an overlay of 4 to 4.5 points (mainly a result of the lack of respect by Sagarin). 

The wrong team favored overall tends to be an edge for the dog, though not necessarily within this line range.  The favorite in this line range of 3 and 2.5 without going over the 3 has produced 17 of 20 covers so far for the favorite.  We're looking at you Seattle.

The Giants are looking like they should be the team to cover, only because of the size of the overlay.  Did we mention New York is 6-1 Straight Up and Against The Spread?
