Golfer John Daly Once Through $55,000 in Gambling Winnings Off a Bridge

In a shock revelation Wednesday, golfer and gambler John Daly admitted he once threw $55000 in gambling winnings off a bridge.

In a recent appearance on The Dan LeBatard Show on ESPNU, Daly confirmed he threw the money off a bridge in a fit of rage.

From Mediate:

The golfer told LeBatard he’d been fighting with his then-wife Sherrie Miller. He felt as though she wasn’t appreciative of his financial contributions to the household, so on a drive over the bridge from Arkansas to Memphis, Daly decided to chuck his cash overboard.
