After more than a year of slow payment issues concerning Jazz Sports (well documented on the Gambling911.com website), we are finally learning that the long established sportsbook is under new management.

What seemed like a great piece of news early on quickly turned into a nightmare as reports began surfacing across the net of long time customers owed money having their accounts confiscated.

A representative reached out to Gambling911.com Thursday morning to announce the news.

Good morning:

On behalf of  new management  at JAZZSPORTS and its sister sites, we wanted to address the payout situation that has been mentioned by several customers on forums.

After years of financial struggles, Jazz Sports faced bankruptcy due to mismanagement. In August 2024, a new investor group stepped in to acquire the company's assets, aiming to restore stability and credibility. In an effort to support a smooth transition, the new ownership initially assisted the previous owner in addressing outstanding debts and liabilities. However, the former owner was caught stealing, and it was discovered he concealed debts and misrepresented many material claims. As a result, all previous liabilities remain solely with him, while we focus on rebuilding trust and ensuring a better future for Jazz Sports.

We are processing payouts normally for all active players, recreational or non-recreational, and will continue to do so. As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline services, a select group of longstanding accounts will receive a courtesy update regarding the completion of their account lifecycle. No further action will be required on their part.

We regret the situation, and our priority is to move forward and secure the future of the business.

Gambling911 first began to suspect something positive on the Jazz Sports front late Tuesday after seeing that their affiliate program would be shifting away from the TopAffiliate platform.

The Jazz Sports affiliate program will now utilize MyAffiliates.com.  That move may be in limbo due to the respected brands that use the MyAffiliates platform and news of the account confiscations Thursday morning.  A number of customers have reached out to MyAffiliates warning not to bring Jazz and its sister sites on board.

Dozens of players - mostly non-recreational - have reached out to Gambling911.com regarding slow payments in recent months.

Jazz Sports has operated since 1994.  It was not immediately clear what would happen with the sister brands Loose Lines or ABC Islands, both of which have existed since the late 1990's.  The company also operated a Pay Per Head business tied primarily to ABC Islands, which was originally founded in Pittsburgh and purchased by Jazz Sports in the early 2000's.  Loose Lines was initially based out of Belize before being purchased by Jazz.

We've since been advised that there are players owed significant amounts of money from the previous owner and they are "looking for that f***ing piece of s***."

Further reports suggests Jazz Sports has relocated their offices to Downtown San Jose, Costa Rica.

We've reached out for further comment and have not heard back as of yet.

THIS STORY IS FLUID AS MANY CUSTOMERS AND INDUSTRY REPS HAVE BEGUN REACHING OUT TO US....
