57% of traders at Polymarket believe the price of Brent Crude Oil will be $120 or more by the end of June, which is two months from today. Just shy of 70% see prices over $115, which indicates the majority of prediction market traders now believe we are in the for the long haul with higher oil prices. The significance here is that the heaviest trade volume is on the $115 to $120 plus option ($486,726 Vol. for $120+ and $136,000 Vol. for $115+). $548,000 in volume was coming in on the $140+ but with just a 26% chance.

U.S. Senators Banned From Using Prediction Markets
Thursday April 30, 2026 (3:37 pm EDT)
U.S. senators are officially banned from trading on prediction markets on platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket after the body unanimously passed a rule Thursday barring their participation in the controversial online gambling practice. Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, introduced the resolution last week amid concerns about insider trading on the platform. Regardless, the new rule has little teeth beyond internal ethics enforcement like reprimands or censures, as there is nothing the senate can do to punish those who break the rule.
