Police in Lop Buri, Thailand, pulled off a bizarre raid after officers reportedly disguised themselves as performers to get close to a suspected drug and gambling operation without raising alarms. Videos and photos from the operation quickly spread online because people couldn’t believe the arrest started with dancing. The suspect, identified locally as Mekha Fa-wap-wap, was caught during a carefully planned sting operation that looked more like a festival performance than a drug raid. Authorities reportedly seized 53 meth pills, hundreds of empty plastic bags believed to be for distribution, and a mobile phone linked to the operation.
