Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room kicks off the summer with the return of its popular Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament, beginning Friday, 12 June at 11:10am and culminating Sunday, 14 June with a champion crowned. The $400 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event features $75,000 guaranteed prize pool. Later in June, Mohegan Sun Poker continues the excitement with a Juneteenth High Hand Special, offering players the chance to win prizes from Noon to Midnight during the holiday. On-site registration for the Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament at Mohegan Sun will be held in the Poker Room starting at 9:15am before each flight and will remain open until the beginning of level seven. Players will start with $25,000 in chips, with the option for a 5,000 chip add on for $10.

Spurs rookie guard Dylan Harper suffered a right hamstring injury in the third quarter of Wednesday night's 122-113 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, delivering yet another blow to San Antonio's depleted backcourt. Harper's injury occurred after veteran guard De'Aaron Fox missed his second consecutive game because of a right high ankle sprain suffered in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. Harper had been filling in for Fox in the starting lineup. The Spurs are still listed with the second best odds to win the 2026 NBA Championship after the Thunder.

Kyle Busch Out of Coca Cola 600 With 'Severe Illness'

Bad news for Kyle Busch as he won't be racing in this weekend's Coca Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. News broke Thursday morning that Busch has been hospitalized with what is being described as a "severe illness". "Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization," the Busch family said in a statement posted on social media. "He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation." He was coming into the weekend with +4000 odds.

Senators Signal Push for Federal Prediction Market Standards

The Senate Commerce Subcommittee grilled Kalshi, Polymarket, and the American Gaming Association on Wednesday, with chair Sen. Marsha Blackburn saying the hearing was the first of several and hinting strongly at coming legislation. The hearing, originally framed as a broad look at sports betting integrity, quickly evolved into something closer to a referendum on prediction markets. Atlantic City Casino Revenue Up 4% After $235.6 Million In April

The nine Atlantic City casinos reported $235.6 million in revenue for the month of April. That was an 11.7% increase compared to a year prior ($211.0 million). Last month’s solid numbers have helped push the nine casinos to being 3.9% up through 2026 when compared to a year ago. Through four months, Atlantic City casinos have tallied $888.5 million in revenue. At this point in 2025, they had recorded just $855.4 million.

Ed Gallrein was our 3rd most searched for here at G911. This was billed as a blockbuster race. Certainly, it was the most expensive primary ever. Gambling911.com's own data shows that only 909 searches were recorded for Ed Gallrein. Indeed, our own betting coverage for the Thomas Massie vs. Ed Gallrein Kentucky primary, one in which the incumbent Massie lost, did not see a whole lot of interest. "Thomas Massie odds" saw just under 600 searches. That is nearly half of the number of searches recorded for James Talarico. Callum Turner is currently among the top frontrunners and bookmakers' favorites to be cast as the next James Bond, and he saw 3.111 impressions over the last 48 hours as Gambling911.com published odds on the casting for this upcoming Bond film courtesy of BetOnline. Lubbock District Judge Recuses Himself From Brendan Sorsby's Lawsuit

A Lubbock district judge is recusing from Brendan Sorsby's lawsuit in which Sorsby is seeking eligibility for the 2026 Texas Tech football season. District Judge Phillip Hays, a Texas Tech University and Law School alumnus, filed an order recusing himself from the lawsuit the Red Raiders' quarterback filed seeking an injunction that would allow Sorsby to play this coming season. Sorsby, who is currently ineligible to play for Tech after violations of the NCAA's sports gambling rules, filed a 514-page suit on Monday, May 18, that was assigned to the 99th District Court over which Hays presides.
