Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on Tuesday has signed legislation banning online sweepstakes casinos. Legislation in Tennessee — specifically SB 2136 in the Senate and its House companion HB 1885 — targeted so-called “dual-currency” sweepstakes casinos that utilize Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins redeemable for prizes or cash while offering casino-style slots and table games outside of a traditional gaming license framework. Tennessee becomes the 7th state to ban sweepstakes casinos.

An overnight shooting in the parking garage of Bally's Casino in Kansas City has left one individual dead and the suspect remains on the loose. The incident occurred shortly before midnight Monday. Police are reviewing casino security footage to determine who is responsible. They ask anyone who may have information to call 816-474-TIPS.

They not only swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Championship but also became only the fourth team to have an 11-game winning streak during their postseason run.
