Leshone Lee, 31, has been sentenced to 30 years for robbing two individuals he befriended at Reno casinos.
The first robbery occurred in November 2024. Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to a report of a robbery with the victim stating that he had been at some local casinos earlier the prior evening, where he met Lee. The two men became friendly, decided to go grab some breakfast, and Lee offered to drive.
Authorities say Lee led the victim down an alley and abruptly punched the victim in the face and knocked him to the ground where he then robbed the man of $1,400 in cash and ran away.

Two weeks later, a second victim contacted the Reno Police Department, saying he had been robbed. Police reviewed video surveillance within the casinos, which clearly identified Lee and the man chatting. Lee later attacked the victim and stole $440 from him before running.
Lee is eligible for parole in ten years.
The sentencing comes just days after a robbery in broad daylight occurred at the Tamarack Casino in Reno.
Investigators say the man entered the casino Sunday and pulled out a hand gun, demanding money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police also say he fled out the back door of the casino and also sprayed a chemical into the air, possibly pepper spray.
Some patrons reported breathing difficulties after the substance was sprayed.
Investigators reviewed video surveillance around the casino.
Police have provided little information as to a description of the perpetrator, who remains at large.
