Man Shot Over Gambling Debt

A Palm Beach Gardens, Florida man was shot over an apparent gambling debt this week according to CBS 12.

The incident occurred near Gardens Mall off of A1A.  Antonio Smith Jr. was transferred via ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old alleged shooter Anthony Mattys Wednesday. 

Mattys has been charged with attempted second degree homicide with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging that firearm.
