Man United in Disarray as Alleged Domestic Violence Images Surface on Social Media

Manchester United have released a statement saying they are 'aware of images and allegations circulating on social media'.  The accusations are lodged against and involve 20-year-old Mason Greenwood.

There is also an audio clip circulating online allegedly featuring Greenwood.  The woman who made the claims has since deleted the posts, but not before screenshots were made by others and continue to circulate across social media.

In a statement, Man United said: "We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind."

Greenwood made his debut for the Red Devils in 2019 as a 17-year-old, and has scored 36 goals in 130 appearances for the club.

Police say they are working to "establish the full circumstances" around the events that led up to the accusations.

Manchester United is set to participate in the Champions League, entering with 16/1 odds to win the title.
