Man Who Held Bartender at Knifepoint Following Gambling Spree Apprehended
GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Grants Pass, Oregon Police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a suspect in a robbery of the Sound Lodge last week. The establishment is located just off I-5 north of Medford.
Police say Gregory Scott Jetmore, 41, returned to the Sound Lodge after a losing gambling spree and held a bartender at knifepoint while demanding cash and the bartender's phone.
Officials say Jetmore fled the scene with around $4000 in cash.
The gambling had taken place at the lodge earlier in the day. Police say he lost money playing “video lottery games” at the bar.
He was booked into the Josephine County on theft, weapons and menacing charges.

Salt Lake City police investigators arrested two individuals after recovering illegal drugs, gambling machines and a loaded firearm as part of an investigation into an illegal gambling operation.
Undercover detectives went to the business and gambled on the machines, according to probable cause statements filed for the arrested suspects. It documents that employee Jazmine Sosa, 27, provided change and paid out winnings.
The owner, Tyler Miller, 24, was also arrested.
Miller and Sosa both were arrested on suspicion of:
Intentionally providing or offering to provide online gambling, a third-degree felony
Gambling promotion, a class A misdemeanor
Possession of a gambling device/record, a class A misdemeanor
