Gudas Domi fight

The Toronto Maple Leafs didn't take long to get revenge on Monday, March 30 for the season-ending injury to captain Auston Matthews.

That meant some bettors were able to cash out early.

And it was Toronto's Max Domi who got into the altercation with defenseman Radko Guda right off the opening face-off in the team's first meeting since Gudas was suspended five games for his knee-on-knee hit on Matthews.

BetOnline had a prop for this. In fact, they released about a dozen props involving Gudas.

The last time the Maple Leafs missed the playoffs was the 2015-2016 NHL season.

They finished with the worst record that year, which led to them drafting superstar Matthews.

And they’ve made the playoffs every year since…until 2026.

This season has been a disaster for the Leafs with five-, six- and eight-game losing streaks. They hit rock bottom on March 12 when Anaheim Ducks’ defenseman Gudas took out Matthews for the season with a dirty hit. Gudas received a five-game suspension for the blow.

And to top it all off, the Leafs took an immense amount of criticism for not sticking up for the captain after the egregious hit.

In anticipation, BetOnline released its prop bets for Monday's game and Domi's action meant a $200 payout for every $100 wagered.

These were the props offered at BetOnline for last night's game.
