UNC new favortes College World Series

With UCLA being favored to win this year's College World Series and having been ousted after losing both games to St. Mary’s, we now have a new favorite.

It's the North Carolina Tar Heels followed by Georgia Tech and Texas.

Neither of the two ACC teams have ever won the College World Series.

The Tar Heels recently swept the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional by defeating East Carolina and VCU. They are scheduled to host a Super Regional in Chapel Hill from June 5–8.

This time of year in North Carolina, it's mostly about getting ready well in advance for college football, the Panthers in the NFL and, of course, college basketball.

Not this June!!!

In addition to the Tar Heels advancing to become the new CWS favorites, we also have their beloved Hurricanes in the Stanley Cup Finals.

It's never been a better time to be a sports bettor in North Carolina. Whoever thunk we'd be saying that in the heat of June?
