New Yorkers wagered nearly $155 million on the Super Bowl, which included future bets on the big game.

New Yorkers bet $130.3 million on the game, not including future wagers. New Yorkers wagered slightly more than $129 million through their online apps.

Sportsbooks reported $47,429,762 in gross gaing revenue for the game alone. At the states 51% sports betting tax rate, this led to $24,183,151 in tax revenues.

Purdum also reported that Pennsylvania sports books suffered a net loss of $6.5 million on Super Bowl LIX. A record $101.5 million bet was bet on this year's game, representing a 20.4 percent bump over the prior record high from two years earlier.  A greater majority of bets were placed on the Eagles.

For ESPN Bet's Pennsylvania operation, 73 percent of the bets and 79 percent of the handle landed on the Eagles.
