PrizePicks, the largest daily fantasy sports company, isn’t pursuing an outright sale, according to one of the people, who asked to not be identified discussing information that hasn’t been made public.

That's the news that broke Thursday courtesy of Bloomberg.

PrizePicks has, nonetheless, hired the investment bank Moelis & Co. (NYSE: MC) to scout out M&A opportunities, according to Bloomberg News.

Co-founder and CEO, Adam Wexler, hasn't said a word since the Bloomberg report.  In fact, he's been noticeably quiet via his LinkedIn page.  He's typically been pretty active otherwise.

Poker Player Wins $2.2 Million on $5 Bet

Someone at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas just won $2.2 million playing Face Up Pai Gow poker on a $5 wager by having a seven-card straight flush, which happens when all the cards are the same suit and in sequential order. Here the player got a 7, 9, 10, jack, queen, and king in clubs, with the joker serving as an 8.

The Venetian Resort posted the big win without identifying the player via its Facebook page.

The payout of $2,211,469 is the largest amount won in Pai Gow Progressive in the casino's history.  The Venetian Resort has been around now for 25 years, so that's saying a lot.
