Fox News reported that Trump's comment came in response to Trudeau expressing concerns about the potential economic harm to Canada from Trump's proposed tariffs.

BetOnline.ag has already created a wagering market for which country, city, district, etc. will become the 51st U.S. state.

The longtime favorite, Puerto Rico, tops the list. Greenland might be a surprise at tied for fifth, but don't forget that Trump has previously talked about wanting to buy the world's largest island.

Additionally, there is a Canada-specific market for which province or territory will become the 51st state. Ontario is the favorite, followed by Alberta in second and then a tie for third between Yukon region and Nova Scotia.

51st state odds are subject to change and will be updated in real-time.
