An Offset fan allegedly knocked out fellow rapper Lil Tjay at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida Monday that resulted in a fight that led to Offset's shooting, according to YouTuber Ceddy Nash.
On Tuesday afternoon (April 7), Ceddy went on social media to give his inside scoop on what went down during the incident.
According to Ceddy, Lil Tjay and his crew jumped Offset outside venue.
He discussed the matter via his social media accounts, including Instagram below.
Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus), who was once married to Cardi B and performed in the Atlanta-based hip hop group MIgos, was being treated at a hospital after Monday night’s shooting, the spokesperson said in a statement, although his exact condition was unknown. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.
Offset has accused Lil Tjay of being involved in the shooting.
Lil Tjay, Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested for the altercation that occurred just prior to the shooting, the Seminole Police Department in Florida said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without a valid license at a location nearby the famed casino. Lil Tjay did not have a weapon and was not charged in the shooting, according to his attorney.
Walking out of the Broward County jail Tuesday afternoon, Lil Tjay told reporters that he was not involved in any fighting.
Police, however, are investigating whether an associate of Lil Tjay was the actual trigger man.
This remains an active investigation and the story is fluid. Gambling911.com continues to monitor for any further developments.
