Roobet
  • Roobet's newly launched prediction market is not available in the U.S.

  • The new feature allows players to take positions on real-world outcomes across sports, culture, and major global events, all directly using their existing Roobet accounts

  • Roobet receives mostly positive reviews

Roobet, a crypto casino site that built major visibility through Twitch/streamer marketing, influencer deals, and sponsorships with creators and esports personalities, announced Wednesday May 6 the debut of its brand new prediction market platform.

Unlike prediction markets Kalshi and Polymarket, Roobet does not accept customers from the U.S.

With this launch, Roobet becomes the first major crypto casino to offer fully integrated prediction markets, expanding beyond traditional casino and sportsbook experiences into one of the fastest-growing formats in digital entertainment.

The new feature allows players to take positions on real-world outcomes across sports, culture, and major global events, all directly using their existing Roobet accounts.

“Bringing prediction markets to Roobet is a natural evolution of our platform,” said Matt Duea, CEO at Roobet. “I’m incredibly proud of the team for getting this feature live. We’re excited to give our players something new that adds another layer of engagement and entertainment to the experience, especially at a time when prediction markets are gaining so much momentum globally.”

Roobet has historically had strong brand recognition in Canada through influencer and streaming culture.

In recent years, the site has expanded into portions of Latin America that include Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

The site has been issued a warning at TrustPilot for "too many fake reviews", however, the real reviews aren't all that bad.  Also, to be perfectly fair, the number of "fake"reviews we find for so many online casinos is pretty extraordinary, so this isn't necessarily to single out Roobet.  It's just that we've never seen this warning issued before.

Te Teira Pikiuha Soutar of New Zealand provides some insight into the unique way in which Roobet doles out bonuses.

"Of all the sites I’ve played in the last 10 years this one is by far the fastest in terms of deposits and withdrawals(my favourite part of a site) 20min crypto withdrawals and not once had any issue doing so. But where this site lets me down is I’ve never once received a bonus nor do I like there rake back system. You have 24hrs to claim or you loose it and you get it in small amounts over 14 days. A great way to keep them coming back but just give me my full take back and be done with it. Apart from that would still highly recommend."

One common denominator, despite the ominous TrustPilot warning, is mention of super fast payments.  While crypto casinos are supposed to be fast by their very nature, they often are not.

TrustyPunter99 from Germany writes:

"Well deposits n withdrawals were super fast no matter what coin. no hassle, no kyc really, which makes it relaxing but at the same time dangerous :) typical shady crypto book. limits are fine as well as lines, didnt use the casino so only talking about the sportsbook experience. they limited me after a month - been to worse places."

Roobet first launched in Australia in 2019.  It operates under a Curaçao-style offshore licensing structure.
