Encore Boston Harbor Employees Go on Strike

More than 1,300 workers at the Encore Boston Harbor are officially on strike effective Friday September 4. The workers, part of labor union Unite Here Local 26 and Teamsters Local 25, voted in August to authorize a strike. Their contract with casino owner Wynn Resorts expired on Aug. 31, and according to the union, a new contract has not yet been negotiated.

Two Fargo North Dakota Brothers Charged in Robbery of Private Poker Game, Fired Dealer Suspected Involvement

Two Fargo, North Dakota brothers have been charged with felony robbery of a private poker game last month, holding six men at gunpoint. Jackson James Dubois, 22, of Fargo, and Delton Robledo Dubois, 20, of West Fargo, were each charged August 28 in Cass County District Court with robbery involving a firearm, dangerous weapon, or destructive device, a Class B felony. Both were arrested August 31 and remain on the Cass County Jail roster.
