As you can see, the most engaging articles were two involving the long simmering "feud" between poker pros Sean Perry and Daniel Negreanu, though Perry has made the most of it in recent years. His explosive rant at the World Series of Poker over the weekend while Negs sat a few tables away went viral. You'll notice the searches for Sean Perry are nominal when compared to the FIFA World Cup, but most everyone looking for information pertaining to this story landed on the Gambling911.com website. Norway vs. England, by sheer volume of search, landed as the 3rd most engaging news coverage here on the site with a mind-blowing 120,833 impressions registered for Gambling911.

FIFA World Cup Gambling911.com article impressions were through the roof. But also check out betting coverage for one of the Brazil Serie B competitions (Sports Recife vs. Botafogo).

As would be expected, the U.S. traffic search impressions were the highest, but by just a hair. India search impressions nearly topped that of the United States, fueled by FIFA World Cup and Rugby searches.

Lindsey Graham Passes Away at 71
Sunday July 12, 2026 (9:08 am EDT)
One of the most ardent critics of the online gambling industry, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, has died suddenly at the age of 71. Graham, a Republican and one of President Donald Trump’s closest allies in Congress who traveled the globe to advocate for a more aggressive U.S. foreign policy, has died after a “brief and sudden illness,” his office said. The late Senator was among the staunchest critics of online gambling. During the early 2010's, Graham proposed a bill seeking to outlaw all forms of online gambling. Graham’s bill at the time complimented efforts by GOP mega donor and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson to halt state-by-state legalization of Web gambling while preventing the activity at the federal level. Politico.com noted that Adelson cut checks for $15,600 in campaign contributions to Graham in 2013. Graham would ultimately introduce the Restoration of America’s Wire Act, which failed to gain much traction in the Senate.

Sean Perry Drama Steals Some of the Thunder Away From World Cup

The bad blood between Sean Perry and Daniel Negreanu ("Kid Poker") has been building for several years and centers on accusations, reputation, and social media battles rather than a specific hand of poker. This can be traced back to 2021 when high-stakes pro Daniel Colman publicly warned the poker community that he believed Sean Perry was a scammer. Perry denied wrongdoing, but the allegations damaged his reputation. Perry, whose live tournament winnings total greater than $6.8 million, has claimed that Negreanu helped amplify negative opinions about him within the poker community and turned other players against him. In 2025, things really got heated when Perry published text messages purportedly between him and Negreanu. In this weekend's video, filmed at the World Series of Poker, Perry calls Negreanu "a piece of shit" while Negs is sitting at a nearby table. That video continues to go viral. Gambling911.com has appeared in 1,338 searches that include all types of variations of ""sean perry daniel.negreanu".
