Sydney Sweeney’s Naked Gambling Ad is Coming at a Cost

The backlash has been seen around social media over the last week, but now it has hit the follower count. Sydney Sweeney has lost over 200,000 Instagram followers after she was featured in a controversial sports-betting ad, appearing fully nude to promote the prediction market Novig, per Variety. The “Euphoria” actress shared the 60-second ad on Instagram last week where she poses with various sports equipment, like footballs, basketballs and a soccer ball, to cover parts of her body. By Wednesday morning, Sweeney’s ad post had 1.2 million likes and 2.8 million shares. (read more from the New York Post)

Former Resorts World Las Vegas Compliance Director Claims Wrongful Termination After Raising Concerns Over Group of Gamblers

Resorts World in Las Vegas is once again under the microscope after a former compliance director accused the casino of retaliating against him after he raised concerns about suspicious activity involving a group of international gamblers. Preston Banks’s federal complaint alleges wrongful termination under Nevada law and retaliation under the federal Anti-Money Laundering Act.

The VSiN Layoffs Continue

The Baseball Betting Show's host Greg Peterson will be ending his tenure with the network in the next few weeks. "I was informed over the weekend that effective at the end of the MLB regular season (two weeks from now) my contract with VSIN will not be renewed," Peterson confirmed. "I moved to Vegas in June of 2017 for the a role as an associate producer and had nearly 10 great years with the company." VSiN has also cut ties with Tyler Shoemaker, who announced he'll be ending his relationship with the gambling network. "I am officially a free agent. Huge thank you to VSiN for having me contribute for the last 3 years. It’s been a great experience and I’ve made some amazing friends out of it, but I have been officially let go."

Las Vegas Rental Home Owner Suspicious About Ambush Robbery of Huntington Beach Poker Pro Jared Griener

We are hearing for the first time from the owner of a rental property where poker pro Jared Griener says he was robbed of all his World Series of Poker winnings back in July. "It's a mystery how they got into the house because there was no forced entry," the home owner Majee Simpson said. "So they would have had to have someone either let them in, or they would have used the door code themselves." Police also released a photo they say are of two suspects near the home.
