Gambling911.com looks at the top ranked casinos in Florida. These rankings are based on actual customer feedback and are not tied to any type of affiliate or influencer deals that have become all too commonplace across the internet these days. These rankings and reviews are as of March 2026.

1 - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood
There is some bias here as it's the closest casino to our home here in South Florida, but really there are few casino properties as well regarded - not just in Florida, but globally - than the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, just outside of Fort Lauderdale and a short commute (minus any traffic) from Miami.
This is a massive resort complex with the famous guitar-shaped hotel, which has become our landmark of sorts here in South Florida. The casino also boats of Vegas-style card games and slot machines, restaurants, and some of the most sought after concerts and shows. The location is in a very safe area.
The rooms are wonderful, albeit a little on the pricey side.

One recent visitor writes on TripAdvisor:
"The Best Casino Ever! Machines Pay Out Regularly, and Tables are Plentiful. Restaurants Are Fabulous Too! A Must "To-Do" when in South Fla! GetSome!!"
Christie on Google writes:
"Very clean casino floor. Came with a party of 5 while vacationing and had a really nice time. About 30 minutes from Pompano Beach area where we stayed. Convenient highway access and free parking. Huge selection of slot machines of all denominations. Excellent table game selection. All dealers were friendly and polite. We had some winners and some losers in our group but we were able to play for a while on the money we brought. Ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. Food was as expected but nothing over the top. Typical Hard Rock atmosphere. We would definitely visit again if in the area."
R. Moretti on Google offered:
"My recent stay at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, FL was a memorable mix of luxury, excitement, and classic casino vibes. From the moment you walk in, the property feels like a mini Vegas on the Atlantic coast , bright lights, action everywhere, and plenty to do.
"What I liked: Property & Rooms: The hotel facilities are modern and generally very clean. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and good amenities, perfect for a weekend getaway or concert stay.
"Entertainment: The on-site venue sees big names and high-energy shows, making the hotel a destination for music and nightlife. The casino area is lively with plenty of games and even a sports betting lounge for fans.
"Dining & Atmosphere: There are numerous restaurants and bars, though be prepared to make reservations if you want in popular spots. The rock-and-roll theme throughout adds to the unique vibe.
"Seminole Hard Rock delivers an energetic and fun experience that’s ideal if you’re there for gaming, shows, or a lively weekend. Great amenities and entertainment keep it engaging, but expect the typical casino hustle, smoke, crowds, and occasional service slowdowns. All in all, a solid 4-star destination worth checking out, especially if you’re coming for events or a spirited getaway."
Kristen writes:
"Every kind of game imaginable tables, slots, high roller area. No shortage of bars or places to eat. Big sports book. It was loud and smokey but to be expected. They did have a non smoking casino. Machines paid out more than expected. No big hits though."
Hank Scorpio noted some of the negatives we have seen mentioned that include the smoke (typical of most casinos) and, more specifically, the lack of craps options.
"Great casino. Alot of Slots and tables for poker / blackjack etc... Only 2 things i dont like, you end up smelling like cigar / cigarette smoke when you leave. And second, wish they had more craps tables. Everytime I try to play their surrounded by people waiting for a chance to sit."
FishinKeyLargo touched on the craps play with more detail.
"Only visited the casino. Slots were very busy. Table games were not full so plenty of room to play. I'm a craps player and have played craps at all 5 South Florida Seminal properties. I have been at many tables when they raise the table limit for what ever reason. The way they did it here was a major turn off.
"At the Hard rock this is the first time I have seen them raise the table limit in the middle of a shooters roll. Was at a $15 table and in the middle of a shooters roll they raised the limit to $25. At least wait until the shooter 7's out. The table was not full, there were not people waiting to jump into the game. It's like they raised the limit because the shooter was on a hot roll. If you had place bets on the table you had to pull them or raise them if they were below the new minimum bet. They disrupted his roll and he quickly 7nd out. My self and over half the players left the table after that. Within 10 minutes they were down to 2 players at the higher limit. After playing some roulette I noticed the table was back down to $15 min. At that point I opted to just leave cutting my visit short for the night."
And unlike most of the Las Vegas casinos, parking here is still free.
2 - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa
This casino typically ranks as the No. 2 in the Sunshine State. Not surprisingly, it's another owned by the Seminoles.
It gets high praise for:
Huge poker room and table-game selection
High-energy nightlife and concerts
High-end restaurants like Council Oak
It is considered among the largest casinos in the world with around 245,000 sq ft of gaming space and thousands of machines.
Negative press surrounding this casino mostly pertained to a few high profile cases of individuals being followed home and robbed.
In August 2024, a couple who had just won a jackpot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa and were followed home by two men who apparently watched them gamble for hours.
The suspects waited outside their Riverview home and ambushed them, shooting both victims during the robbery. Both men were later apprehended.
The security on-site generally gets high reviews, so we want to be clear that the casino itself is quite safe and heavily monitored.
In regard to the casino experience, Kelli M. at Google writes:
"Large, busy casino. Didn't realize that it is not a direct Hard Rock property, it's part of the Seminole casino group.
We intended to stay at the hotel on a Thursday night but rooms were $469 for a basic king room on a Thursday!
Opted for a Saturday evening visit instead.
"The slots were super tight and tables had high limits. Table limits started at $25 and at a certain time of night they were raised to $50 minimum.
"It was very warm inside, super smoky, could have been cleaner, and had some off putting smells in areas. Our group was a bit disappointed. The upstairs is non-smoking which we didn't realize until we were leaving.
"The casino was fine for the 3 hours that we played but I would not visit again. We are from Detroit area and have 4 local casinos, all of which are nicer and better kept than this Hard Rock. I was a bit surprised. Oh well, served for a bit of entertainment for a few hours."
Tom Taylor agreed with the notion that the slots seem tight.
"Have a lot of the new slots. They are however very tight. Not really seeing anyone hit much . Prefer to play blackjack. Only saw 1 $15 dollar table and it was always full. Most tables were 25 or 50 with plenty of openings. Needs more $15 tables. Seems the house would do better filling 15 tables and not have empty seats at 25."
Elaine Ford just loves this place.
"I have to say the Pool Sports bar was fantastic!! Beautiful view of the pool area …betting at the bar… great spot!
"What impressed me most was the quality of the service and attention to detail!! The server was attentive but not intrusive and very knowledgeable about their menu and offerings. One of the managers stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything and thank us for “joining” them for lunch.
"I was impressed… thank you Jo! Your attention to detail made us feel we were valuable to you and your wonderful team."
Then there was this from Brittany S.:
"Good food everywhere and if you like to gamble, it's not bad. They do have a lot of payouts. However I thought the atmosphere wasn't as great as they make it sound. If you're a music buff, there is a lot of very cool memorabilia. The service on the casino floor was just okay, wish there were more servers. The service in the buffet area was great. I really wasn't crazy about the pool area. I thought it was smaller than it looked online and the bar and grill area could have been cleaner. We had a room in the West Tower and we were very happy with it, it had newer furniture and great bedding. It was also very clean.I am not sure however that it was worth the price."

3 - Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
Known as a top “locals” casino with an extensive variety of games - 2,300+ slots, table games, and poker rooms, plus smoke-free gaming areas.
Often cited in rankings of Florida casinos where visitors report feeling “lucky” or winning frequently.
JHS writes:
"A lively and busy casino with the added bonus of free parking, definitely a plus! It’s conveniently located close to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Airport, making it easy to visit if you’re in the area.
"The casino offers a great variety of gaming options including roulette, stud poker, slot machines, and poker tables. The service was good, and there were plenty of drink options available to keep things fun.
"I did end up losing some money during my visit, but overall, it was a fun and entertaining experience. Hopefully next time, I’ll resist the temptation to return and lose more! "
Dustin Wright writes:
"It was so hot in here! Was like the AC didn't work. The tables were super dry as well. Didn't see mich winning going on tbh. I know I played about 45 hands of blackjack and won maybe 3 or 4.
"Full tables and everyone losing. Wasn't a good look tbh, but still had a pretty decent time. The bubble craps machines was hitting though.
Worst Casino in Florida?
That honor belongs to the Miccosukee Casino & Resort.
Some Tripadvisor reviews describe cleanliness issues, weak customer service, and dated facilities.
To be fair, the reviews are more mixed than overall negative.
Luisia Santos writes:
"Visited Miccosukee Casino and Resort last night for the first time and had a great experience! I was pretty nervous since I’d never been to a casino before, but Jose, one of the slot technicians, really made my night. He helped me figure out how to use the machines and was super patient and friendly about it. His customer service was amazing and made me feel so much more comfortable. The whole place was nice and everyone was welcoming."
Pippi1969 D had this to offer:
"Super fun night. It was my first time at Casino bingo. The staff was so helpful explaining the machines and paper cards. There was a very nice selection of food from the café. Plenty of slots that were fun to try. There was a separate smoking slots area for those wanting to smoke and win big!! Highly recommend."
"The food was good! We ate at the bol. Portions was huge as well."
Melissa gallegos writes:
"Very nice experience walking in. The front staff were friendly & courteous. The elevators were fast & secure. The Deluxe King Suite was clean & comfortable. Everything was functional but dated. The bar area had no sink but it did have a fridge & microwave. Overall pleased with the room and rate $200 nightly. If you're a first time member you get $10 of free play & a free game of bingo. Our friends also got a free drink. The slots were loose enough to keep us playing for several hours. The West wing had a urine dingy odor to it. We stayed away, that's where the poker room is. The pool & gym were under renovation & will be for several months to come. Cam at the membership desk said he doesn't think they'll ever finish renovating. Alcoholic drinks start at $7 depending on where you go. There is a convenient nearby gas station though. Overall it was a nice older hotel & we enjoyed our time."
