Gamblers Give Kamala Harris a 25% Chance of Blowout This Election

With $31,000 and some change bet thus far on this new market offered at Polymarket, the gambling public does give Vice President Kamala Harris a 25% chance, not only to win this upcoming November general election, but to blow out Republican nominee Donald Trump.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Kamala Harris wins the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election by 100 or more electoral votes versus his closest competitor. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For purposes of this market, a candidate will be considered to have won all electoral votes from a territory if they win the plurality of the votes, faithless electors shall have no effect on the outcome.

This market's resolution source will be an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting on the final electoral college tally based on which territories each candidate wins.

Harris remained the -125 favorite over the past 48 hours at BetOnline while Trump continues to hold at +105.

Musk-Trump Interview Prop Bets Now Up at BetOnline

Donald Trump and Elon Musk teased a "major interview" last week set to take place Monday evening at 8 pm ET on Twitter.

The BetOnline crew created more than two dozen prop bets for the anticipated Musk-Trump interview, should it occur on Monday (August 12, 2024).

Wagering topics range from what things will be said, how many people will tune in, how many technical difficulties will happen (recall DeSantis debacle on Twitter/X Spaces earlier this year) and much, much more.

CeeDee Lamb Next Team Betting Odds

The NFL on Monday delivered an update on a contract dispute that had BetOnline releasing odds on the Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb potential next team over the weekend.

NFL reporter Albert Breer offered: "I can’t imagine the Dallas Cowboys not getting a deal done with CeeDee Lamb. But Jerry Jones’s frustration with the situation has shown a bit this week. First, he said that there wasn’t any urgency to get a Lamb extension over the goal line. Then, on the team’s pregame show Sunday, he walked that back."

Even BetOnline admits the odds are pretty good he stays put in Dallas.

There are also no clear cut favorites as to which team would even land Lamb should he move on.

The Chiefs, Lions, Steelers, Packers and Patriots are all within 6-1 to 7-1 odds range.

2024 Olympics Final Medal Count: U.S., China Make History With 40 Gold Medals Each

The Americans earned the most medals in 40 years while they tied China for most gold medals at 40.  Sportsbooks are reporting they will pay out for both countries.

China took an early gold medal on Sunday as Li Wenwen won the top medal in women's weightlifting (+81kg). The United States followed that with a gold of its own as Jennifer Valente defended her women's omnium title in cycling.

The Americans then secured their 40th gold in the last event of the Olympics in women's basketball. The United States had to pull off a 10-point second-half comeback in a thriller over France to win its eighth consecutive Olympic gold.

The U.S. team's success extended well beyond the top tier of the podium. The total tally of 126 medals is the most for the Americans in the Summer Olympics since the 1984 Games in Los Angeles.
