Bruno Mars Finally Addresses $50 Million Gambling Debt Rumors

Regular readers of Gambling911.com might remember a few months back a story that appeared whereby singing sensation Bruno Mars reportedly owed a casino $50 million.  The story seemed especially odd considering he is a Las Vegas casino resident.

That casino was MGM Resorts International for which Mars, whose real name is Peter Gene Hernandez, has been performing in concert for some time now.

MGM Resorts International  immediately shot down the rumors.

MGM Resorts International said in a statement  "We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers. From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno’s brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe.”

“MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM,” the statement continued. “Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”

Now Mars is poking fun at the ordeal.

How to Be a Baseball Bookie

Just think about it, on average there are 162 regular MLB game per season. If a gambler bets $100 on one team per season with a 10% vig, you can earn $1,620 from them. Multiply that by the number of friends you have that follow baseball and it can become quite high.

Mars duet with  Lady Gaga, “Die with a Smile," just debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Fans have been mimicking Gaga's slow-motion dance moves and Mars, in turn, is sharing some of their creations on his Instagram account.  One video he shared mocked the debt rumors.

One fan wrote: “Knowing too well he’s not in any debt and is just picking on people is so hilarious.”

“I love how he just accepted the fact that he won't be able to convince people that casino debt rumor was false,” joked another user.

November General Election Odds Unchanged Despite Arlington National Cemetery Scandal

The U.S. Army said an employee at Arlington National Cemetery who tried to "ensure adherence" to rules that prohibit political activities at the cemetery "was abruptly pushed aside," but that the employee decided not to press charges against the Donald Trump campaign staffers who allegedly pushed her.

Trump's campaign painted the female employee as deranged.

The U.S. Army statement Thursday comes in response to NPR's reporting on former President Donald Trump's visit to Arlington as well as the accusations against the employee.

"Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations and DoD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds," the statement said. "An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside. Consistent with the decorum expected at ANC, this employee acted with professionalism and avoided further disruption. The incident was reported to the JBM-HH police department, but the employee subsequently decided not to press charges. Therefore, the Army considers this matter closed."

Kamala Harris remained the -120 favorite, Trump +100.
