Sporting KC Felipe Hernández Terminated for Gambling Violation
Major League Soccer has terminated the contract of Sporting Kansas City midfielder Felipe Hernandez after he was found to have violated the league’s gambling policy. And this wasn't the first time.
Hernandez, 26, will not be eligible for reinstatement until 2026.
The midfielder's initial gambling violation came in October 2021. The league suspended him for the following season.
MLS said that no inside information was shared or that any match was compromised by the Hernandez.

Sportsbook Operators Explain Why They Limit You for Winning in First of its Kind Hearing
During a rare hearing on customers being limited by sportsbooks for winning, operators claimed the practice is not common.
The operators claimed that only a small percentage of players have been impacted.
Pro sports bettor Gadoon “Spanky” Kyrollos praised the FanDuel representative for admitting his company was more focused on limiting pros engaging in betting both sides of a game.
"The Fanduel guy Cory Fox kept it real admitting to limiting customers who simply have a better model or who are arbitraging. At least one operator didn’t portray the limited customer to look like a cheating criminal."
Sarah Brennan, senior director of compliance for BetMGM, claimed only 1% of its Massachusetts customers have been limited by the sportsbook.

More Than 67 Million People Watched Donald Trump and Kamala Harris Debate
A lot of people watched Tuesday night's debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump but the final numbers appear to be Under the posted total of 75 million.
Tuesday’s count was short of the record viewership for a presidential debate, when 84 million people saw Trump’s and Hillary Clinton’s first faceoff in 2016. The first debate between Biden and Trump in 2020 reached 73.1 million people.
No other debates are currently scheduled between the two presidential candidates, although there’s been some talk about it and Fox News Channel has publicly offered alternatives. CBS will host a vice presidential debate between Tim Walz and JD Vance.
Harris remained a -120 favorite over the last 24 hours.
