Craig Berube

The Vegas Golden Knights surprisingly canned coach Bruce Cassidy a couple of days ago, which served as a stark reminder of impending end-of-season firings in the National Hockey League….justified or not.

We'd say that being a head coach in the professional or collegiate ranks is one of the toughest jobs out there, but nowadays these guys get so much compensation for poor or mediocre performances it makes us wonder if we picked the wrong profession.

BetOnline.ag has been updating its next NHL coach fired market all season, and the latest has 15 candidates on the board.

Craig Berube leads the pack, but Ryan Huska is not far behind. There are seven coaches with better than 10/1 odds.
