Streaming the game will get that much harder as a result.

Twitch will prohibit Pokémon Go players who use unofficial software, like bot programs and GPS spoofs, from streaming on the platform, according to the website Polygon.

Those who violate this provision effective Monday August 8, 2016 will receive a strike on their respective account.

Polygon notes:

This could make it a lot harder for players to stream their Pokémon Go adventures, considering the game requires you to actually get up and go outside to play. That’s not the easiest thing to broadcast over Twitch.

In recent weeks, Twitch has also aggressively gone after gamers in violation of the company’s gambling provisions via CS:GO platforms.
