It is one of two well publicized poker tournaments taking place in the great state of Arizona this month, the other being Talking Stick Resort, Scottsdale: Fall Staycation Weekend, Oct. 16–18.
Gila River Lone Butte, Chandler, Arizona: Fall $400 Deep Stack is a multi-day No-Limit Hold'em Deep Stack event rather than a series of separate tournaments.

Lone Butte is billed as the East Valley’s best Poker room. Private entrance, private patio with smoking area and an abundance of screens for watching the game.
Series Schedule Highlights
- Dates: October 8 – October 11, 2026
- Day 1B Event: Friday, October 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM (late registration available until 2:20 PM) for the $400 No-Limit Hold'em event.
- Restart / Final Day: Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM for the No-Limit Hold'em Deep Stack finale.
- Buy-in: $400 No-Limit Hold'em
As with most tournaments, the cash prizes will be determined by how many players take part. For example, the August 2026 $400 Monster Stack attracted 446 entries; fourth place alone paid $12,666. Global Poker Index A smaller recurring $400 Lone Butte event in May drew 87 entries, created a $31,320 prize pool, and paid the winner $6,360.
